Think about it. With out marketing, how would anyone find out about your business? They wouldn't. Whether financialists, accountants, human resource professionals, etc., know it or not, they play a role in marketing (and it is not just determining the budget or hiring a sales staff either). Marketing should be at the core of every business. It sells the product or service which brings in money for financialists to invest, accountants to count, and gives HR reps the ability to hire employees. With out marketing no one would buy any products or services, sales people wouldn't know what to sell, and no one would make any money.

Some of you who may read this might say "what does this have to do with graphics?". It is simple, Marketing is what attracts customers. With out an positive message and attractive design, why would anyone be interested?

Whether it is print, television, social media marketing propels a business and the attractive designs propels your marketing.

Graphics Weekly Launches

Hello Everyone,

I am proud to start this new blog discussing new topics in graphics communication. Anything from design, print, Internet marketing, etc. are all fair game. My name is Bill Goers Jr. and I am the marketing and production manager of Corporate Graphics of America, Inc. My firm started 60 years ago in Chicago as a letterpress shop and overtime advanced to a commercial printing plant. We have again evolved to create dynamic communication plans for our clients that includes multiple different initiatives to build brand awareness.

As we all know, printing isn't considered the latest and greatest way to build a brand or market a product. That is the reason why I have started this blog. To discuss how print and Internet marketing (website, email blasts, SEO, SEM, social media, etc.) can create a powerful communication package to build your brand awareness.

Marketing is the core of any business. With out being able to sell your business effectively, you will not have an accounting/financial department or an HR department or any other department for that matter. What any business needs is a dynamic communications plan that will break through any barrier and reach your target audience.

More on this to come.
